I've been looking over some of the questions about fan troubles, but haven't found the same problem that I am having.
The problem I am having is after a few hours of playing World of Warcraft (most settings set to high) the fan on my graphics card stops for 1 or 2 seconds causing a fps drop, then it starts back up. It's doing this every 15 seconds or so.
After looking over what temperature the card should be and at what % the fan should be running at I downloaded TechPowerUp GPU-Z 0.7.5. While browsing the internet, the software says my card is at a temperature of 75 degrees C and the fan is running at 84%.. that's high right? After a few hours of playing WoW I looked at the readings and they were 95 degrees C and fan speed was 100%, this is when the fan started stopping and starting up again, before it over heated and shut the computer down.
My computer spec is :-
Windows 7
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8120 Eight-Core Processor 3.10 Ghz
RAM: 16GB
System: 64-bit Operating System
Harddrive: 2000GB
I first thought dust was causing the problem of over heating, but I cleaned the whole machine and I still have this problem.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
