CM N600 Front panel audio

The headphone jack of my new CM N600 case is constantly detecting a device plugged in and then plugged out. Could this be a problem with the case or a problem with my sound device? I have an ASUS M5A97 Pro motherboard with a Realtek ALC892 audio codec. Other than that the headphone jack has no noise problems. With my old case there were no such detecting problems

My initial guess would be something wrong with the jack. Loose contact. Plug not fully inserted.
Remove the speakers and try the rear jack for awhile to see if it shows the same message.

There were no headphones plugged in when the problem occurred. It turns there was a weird interference from my speakers that have a microphone jack. Once I unplugged the microphone connecter the problem disappeared.
