BF4 and Dayz: Standalone: How much FPS

How would this Laptop run BF4 and Dayz on Medium settings? Any tips on what to do to increase performance as well will help since I don't have these games yet. I will also be happy to overclock if needed to for extra frames.

- AMD Quad-Core Processor A10-5757M 2.5 GHz with Turbo CORE up to 3.5 GHz
- AMD Radeon HD 8750M 2 GB Dedicated
- 8 GB DDR3 Memory
- 1366x768 Resolution

don't overclock a laptop, they have enough heat issues as it is. But it should handle those games at medium settings

as for increasing performance, turn off anything that takes CPU to run in the background, like Windows Aero and other visual features like that, keep your drivers up to date, and make sure your temperatures stay cool

Will it be alright to overclock, not by a lot but maybe just like 15%-20% with one of these blowing on it, and keep the CPU or GPU at around 50c-60c?

lol I would really suggest against it, my own laptop has had major heat issues because it's getting old, fan is getting dusty (even after I opened it up and cleaned it out), and thermal paste is getting crusty. I have to keep a cooling base under it to get it to stay under 90C during games...

everything looks good! Do you plan on Crossfiring 7970's? that's a really hefty PSU for a single GPU rig. Also I'm not so sure about the sound card, if it's going to be an entry level one I think the onboard audio on your motherboard might be already just as good.

not really, the 7970 is a really strong performance level card, I would've suggested the newer rendition R9 280x, but it's currently increased in price by about 100 dollars, making it nowhere near worth it, how much are you getting the 7970 for? You could think about the GTX 770 too, it's an extremely strong card for the price atm

hmm at that price I'd say go for a GTX 770, it's stronger than a 7970 and a R9 280x in terms of gaming performance, it has 1 less GB of VRAM but it shouldn't an issue if you're not going to be sporting a triple monitor set up

Alright this should be perfect http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2Dsq7 I'll just buy the Keyboard Monitor, mouse later and try to find something better I guess. Should I go with a 2560x1440 monitor or a 1920x1080, I know im prob not going to be able to play 1440p without lag but, just for a much better looking screen and run games at 1080p

hmm actually let me make another suggestion, if you run a 780Ti instead of a pair of GTX 770s you'd be able to play games at 1440p no problem, at 1440p VRAM is the biggest bottleneck for 770s, but with a 780Ti you should be able to play everything with no VRAM issues and no SLI issues.

You'd be trading some raw performance power in favor of more VRAM, but it trades off well if you're gaming at 1440p, you should still be able to max out most games and nearly max out all games.
