Im replacing MOBO(Motherboard), Graphics Card and CPU, im not changing the Hardrive. Do i still need to buy a new copy of Windows 7?

Solution
Any time you change the motherboard, you need a fresh installation of windows.

If you change new CPU, Video Card, but on the same motherboard, you can keep the windows. But your case is the opposite.

See I'll have to disagree with this. I've had the same copy of Windows 7 Professional OEM since its release in 2009 and I've gone through many iterations of my custom PC and I haven't had a problem with re-installing Windows. I may have, at some point, had to activate it over the phone, but other than that installs have gone smoothly.

Actually I changed my MOBO, with built in Graphics AND my CPU all at once, the only thing I had to do was re-enter my Product key to make sure my Windows was Genuine. I didn't have to buy a new one.

Just remember that Microsoft only gives you about 5 or 6 reinstallations where you can reuse that same product key. After the 5th or 6th, you'll hafta purchase a NEW Product ey.

Goodluck!

Consider yourself fortunate. Microsoft is under absolutely no obligation to allow you to activate a previously activated OEM key on a new PC.
