I have 8gb of gskill ripjaws ram 2x4gb sticks installed onto a gigabyte 990a-ud3 mobo. They have both always worked but I just noticed my computer was using 99 percent of the ram when in game. The system properties says I have 8gb installed but only 4gb available why is this? Also when looking at my memory monitor it only says 1000mb out of 4000mb being used instead of out of 8000mb. I have swapped slots and I have tried each stick by themselves and they both work. I was wondering if somebody knew if there was a fix or even what the problem is? Thanks for the help.
The rest of my computer parts are an amd 8350 processor, ssd, 1tb hdd, 800 watt power supply, and 2x 560ti 2gb in sli.
