Is a heatsink necessary?

Solution
I mean, go for all those fans if you are cool with your computer being LOUD.

Basically 6 fans vs 3-4 fans will have ZERO cooling difference. Only more noise. It is NOT about blowing a ton of air all over the place. it is about having proper air flow through your case.
FOr the CPU, the stock heatsink is fine if you aren't overclocking. But the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO in your build is good if you plan to overclock.

Also, your case will sound like a leaf blower with all those fans. You need only really need 3 fans to keep any computer cool.
-front intake
-rear exhaust
-top exhaust

I don't like side fans. they generally don't do anything but mess up airflow and sometimes raise temps. Your GPU will run VERY cool so you will not need a side fan at all.

I would put 2 on the front and one on the top and one on the back.

front=intake
rear/top=exhaust

yea i understand that and im gonna take your advice on ignoring the side fans and only using the top front and back.

Now would i need a heatsink aswell? or is my cpu cooler good enough?
