hi, recently I tried building my first PC, specs are :
M5A97 LE R 2.0 motherboard
AMD FX-8320 8-Core CPU
Thermaltake TR2 600W Power Supply
(1x8) 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
GTX 550 Ti
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm 6gbps HDD

after I installed everything I was ready to do my first test boot, however after I plugged the GPU in and hooked up the VGA chord and booted, nothing happened on the monitor, it was completely blank and went to sleep. After wondering what went wrong I looked at everything on the rear i/o panel because I was wondering if anything else went wrong. As I looked I realized not even my Mouse lights were lighting up (which they should the second they get powered.) I looked at the keyboard too, thinking that I would be able to get the numlock / capslock light to turn on atleast. But not even they turned on. I was wondering if this is a motherboard failure. I should mention that I also took the GPU out of the new computer and put it back in my old, and on the first boot everything was detected and worked perfectly... also im not sure why but when I plug the keyboard into the ps/2 slot, the lights do get powered for about 1 second, and then turn off and are never to be seen again. So that shows that it is getting some power but I dont know why it would just shut back off again after.
EDIT : Forgot to mention, that also the GPU fans spin, and same with the Heatsink fans.
Please help me as I spent a lot of money on this and would hate for it to go to waste :(
