My PC:
- GTX 660 2GB OC
- i5 3470 3.2 GHz
- 8GB RAM Crucial Ballistix

I currently have 60 FPS on Battlefield 4 MP on 64 players maps with everything on Ultra.
But I'm playing on a 19'' 1280x1024 monitor.

I intend buying a 24'' 1920x1080, which is a BENQ GL2640.
How will this affect my PCs performance (In FPS.. or however you want to explain it)?
Will I be able to play games in like two or three years without any problems?

# EDIT: What if I go for an 21,5'' 1920x1080?

In 2 or 3 years time you will be getting around 30 fps on lowest settings with that build. As for bf4 on the 1080p monitor you can probably get a solid 60fps on medium settings with lag spikes during explosions and lots of activity

Well buy a good resolution monitor now and play at high to medium settings for one year after that you have to come to lower resolution. Even if you stay with this you will not get the thrill of 1080p so buy the good one now and enjoy while you can why limit yourself to 1280x1040.
