Hey, I'm building a PC and I can;t get my head around the video output. I'm using an ASRock Extreme 4 Motherboard and I can't work out how to connect my monitor.

There doesn't seem to be any standard HDMI, VGA or DVI connection. I tried connecting my graphics card and using a HDMI cable but nothing.

I think the motherboard does have a composite video connector but I wouldn't know how to connect this to a monitor.

It all feels as though I'm missing something really obvious. Any ideas what sort of cable I need?

system specs would help. The Z77 Extreme4 has D-sub, DVI and HDMI ports at its rear I/O panel. If you not getting a video signal, your build may not be booting.
