I'm sure this question has been asked several times before but I think my issue is slightly different.

There are so many options out there for z87 mobo's and I have managed to take it down to three options.

Also I plan on using this computer for mostly gaming along with everyday stuff, such as web browsing, youtube, emails etc.

Using a I5-4670k

I don't have links to provide but they shouldn't be hard to find. Also a small explanation of why I'm considering that specific one.

asRock-extreme 4 -a friend of mine jas this motherboard for the z86 and swears buy it. Lots of features. excellent price.

Asus z87 plus - I have used Asus ever since I started building, never ever had an issue. I always hear wonderful things about them. Can you go wrong here?

MSI z87 g45 - Really the only thing that has attracted me to this mobo is the fact that it is gaming mobo. Aske a few friends that als build. they said there good. But this is the cheapest out of the three, not by much but this is going to be my primary entertainment I don't want to cheap out, cut corners and regret it later.

Any help is appreciated

I'd go for the ASRock Z87 Extreme4 or the Z87 Pro, which is better than the Plus, for just some bucks more.
Different price ranges, great motherboards, it's up to you if you want something more budget oriented but still very solid or something a bit more expensive with more features. Personally? I'd get the ASRock. In fact, I'm going to get it for my i5 4670k :D

The ASRock was the one I was really leaning towards but I really needed a second opinion. I didn't want to end up making a bad decision. I have heard bad thinks about ASRock in the past. Nothing recent that I can remember and companies can change

That's a good motherboard, but the Extreme4 has 12 power phase and the Killer only 8, so the Extreme4 will overclock better, and it's just $10 more.
