Hi Guys/Gals.
For the past couple of months ive been having this annoying fps drop, where all of a sudden itll be running at 50-70 FPS (which is what most of my games run at) then itll drop to 2-5fps after 30-90 seconds of playing. BUT! as soon as i move the mouse, the frame rate rises back to normal
and the audio still runs perfectly, yet the game slows right down.
itll also do this on web videos.. most of the time is youtube, ill be watching a video for 3-4 minutes for it to then slow down but like before audio plays fine and as soon as i move the mouse its back to normal.
My Graphics is all up to date too. so its not a driver.. i dont think anyway.
My hdd is pretty old, ive had the hard drive for 5-6 years, thats not causing an fps drop is it ? a month ago it has BSOD.
My specs are :
Asus M5A78L
AMD 6100 Six Core.
8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport Ram
GTX 470 (reference card)
Winpower 750w PSU.
Just baffled at the moment on what the problem is.
