Just to clarify, the card has a dedicated GPU and the AMD A8 is an APU...

If you have to live with one upgrade right now...i'd buy the AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHZ. Preferably, you would combine that with dedicated graphics in the future (if youre a gamer). GL Friend!

You can use any technically speaking. But certain ones will crossfire or sli/ with ones of similar chipset manufacturer. Amd and amd or nvidia and nvidia. Hybrid crossfire with a apu that low level won't benefit u that much u may as well get a bigger badder card for 30 or 40 more... but u know that all depends on what kinds of games u play and whatnot.
Good luck friend.

PS. Nice to see an Intel guy refer an amd product! It doesn't happen often!

I personally have an a10-5800k and would recommend it to anyone. I Play World Of Warcraft and get about 40 fps in 1080p on medium / high settings. But I also have 2400 mhz ram which helps dramaticly. No discrete graphics card, only the integrated graphics. And the cpu is over clocked to 4.4 ghz
