Monitor won't boot after installing new heatsink

My computer was shutting off randomly. After investigating, I found out it was my CPU overheating. I figured I needed a new heatsink and decided to buy a Arctic cooling fan to replace my liquid cooling system. After installing it, my monitor would stay in stand-by mode and not boot into BIOS. I've tried testing each individual stick of ram, resetting the CMOS, using another video card, and using another monitor as well. I even tried disconnecting all the cables and reconnecting them again. Everything seems to be connected correctly, so now I'm thinking it could be the motherboard.

I have a Asus motherboard with an AMD Phenom X6 CPU. My new heatsink is an Arctic A30. I can provide more details if needed. Any help would be appreciated!

check that none of the paste ended up on the cpu pins and when changing the heat sink the thermal paste did not cause the heat sink to slightly pull the cpu out of the cpu socket. some times it does and all it takes is lifting up the cpu lock bar and pushing the cpu back down. also if the cpu cooler back plate is metal it can sometime short out some motherboards.

if the mb has onboard video try removing the gpu see if it turns on. try clearing the cmos. check on the mb that the eight.four pin power plug is connected. check that the cpu fan is plugged into the right port. check that the cpu cooler is not on to tight and is bending the mb or causing the mb to ground out.

Yeah, I tried a different GPU and the same thing happened. I reset the cmos and the power plug is connected correctly I'm fairly certain. The CPU fan is also plugged in correctly. I tried taking off the cpu cooler completely, including the brackets, but it still didn't boot. The cooler did come with spacers which I didn't think I would need. Maybe I did it too tight at the beginning, somehow breaking the motherboard? At least now when I take off the cooler, it's still not booting.

I haven't tried a new power supply. I just bought a new motherboard and its still not working, so I'm now ruling that out. The last two things are the power supply and Processor. I'm going to try a different power supply. I'll post the result.
