I recently purchased GTA San Andreas from amazon.com (download) My PC passes the recemended requirements but I still ran into some issues. My game would run smoothly for about 7 seconds then it would have a lag spike that dropped the framerate down to 1 for about 1 second or half a second then it would run smoothly this went on and on so then I decided to go to the settings to see if I could fix it I tried lowering the graphics settings and trying to turn the frame limiter on and off but nothing worked. Does anyone know how to fix this? By the way my computer runs windows 8. Thanks.

Download the latest drivers for your Graphics Card, I had the same issue with GTA4, it's either the driver issue or a overheating issue. But to be sure, what is your Graphic Card specs?
