Can my selected motherboard

work well with a XFX Double D 7850 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150609 )

Should work fine but according to newegg that card is out of stock why not go with a r 270 or r 270 x?

you want dual channel so you want more then 1 stick of ram example 2x2 or 2x4 not 1 x 4 running a single stick will make the pc run slower....

If you mean 2 x 2GB and 1 x 4GB, you will loose dual channel speed by only having one stick in the one of the other slots. And always try to use matched pairs in the dual channel slots for trouble free operation. But 8GB will be fine for size.
