NVIDIA Drivers cause crash on bootup immediately

Every time I install NVIDIA drivers, after my computer restarts to complete the installation, the computer gets about as far as the windows loading screen and then the monitor shuts off, yet the computer appears to still running. I have installed 3 different sets of the drivers, One off NVIDIA's website, the other of Gigabyte's and finally the one the came off the disk. What do I do? What is causing this problem? And how do I fix this problem?

Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 770

*UPDATE WOW lol mispelled immediately

  1. did you wipe the drivers clean before installing the newer versions? though that shouldn't cause any problems it does sometimes for some people, so cleaning it is safer than just installing over it

It's a new build, I've had to do it through safe mode but yes.
