HI guys im currently running a windows 8.1 os with a gtx 780 , 16g ddr3 ram , 960 crucial ssd, 1tbhd, and a 3770k .
I experienced this issue once on my windows 7 and decided to upgrade to windows 8.1 because i thought maybe that would fix it, which ti didnt.
The problem is this: I hop on steam and can play numerious games like Zombie panic source, counter strike, and other stuff fine! However when i hop onto games like smite or dota 2 my computer instantly black screen restarts after a while and when i come back after another 5-10mins it re black screen restarts again. I have NO IDEA WHY THIS IS HAPPENING.
Things i have done: clean out my systems dust , re-insert my ram, checked drivers for my 780 gtx, and played different games.
Through doing this i noticed this issue isnt OS bound and that it only occurs on certain games. I am not sure if i have defective ram or a defective power supply or if its something else.
