Hello.

Just build a new pc alone for the first time and it wont boot after I connect the powercord.

It first starts booting for 4 sec and then automaticly turns off. I then get the error code 53 in the end before it shuting down on my Asus Maximus Hero Motherbord.
When reading in the manual about what the codes mean, it says something about ram, memory initialization error. invalid memory type or incompatatible memory speed.
Could it be that the Ram does not work on my build?

The ram I use is CORSAIR Vengeance Pro DDR3 2400MHz 16GB 2x8GB CL11 XMP 1,65V.
CPU; Intel Core i5-4670K 3,4GHz
Motherboard: Asus Maximus Hero.

I tried checking the Checklist here in the site before posting and found all to be oki, but I wonder about the Ram. Could this be the reason why my PC wont boot? Thanks.

I tried all the slots with just 1 stick, but It still wont boot. Another thing that happend now is that I dont get that ram error anymore, but just lots of codes signifying that the PC is booting, the last code I get before it turns off is Code nr 36: CPU post-memory initialization. Then it turns off again.

Really am stuck here on what It could be.

But like u where saying the RAM should work on my PC, so it cant be the Ram then.

Turn it on with no ram at all in the system and see if you get the same error code

Thanks for the answer.

I just did it and now I got the RAM error code, but when I insert it I get the Booting Codes and then it turns off again after 4 sec.

Also after removing and installing the RAM so many times I feel the "steel plating" is getting detached sometimes, I just put it back on again, but was just wondering if its not gotten damaged, but it still seem to work, since i dont get the RAM error Code.

But whats the deal with the PC turning itself off automaticly? Could the problem be something around this?

You mean to take out the CPU and check under it?

Do I need to clean off the cooling paste and reapply new one when I gonna put it back on?

No since it is a new build like you said it wouldn't need to be replaced every time you take off the heatsink

Oki I will check it tomorrow since It takes me such a long time to remove it. I use the Coolermaster V8 gts and its so hard to install and deinstall.

But what other sulutions could there be?

Would the PC just turn itself off, if the CPU really was damaged?

Nope, nothing is coming up.

The PC starts instantly when I put in the cable, I dont ever press the start button on the pc, it then stays on for 4 secounds and then turns off. I dont get any picture on the PC screen, just codes on the motherboard, I got a GTX 780 ti Installed.

it seems like it has enough wattage i thought that it couldn't handle your system but you should test it in another pc to check if it's functional

Try with a single stick, firmly inserted in slot one and see if it boots if no joy then try the other stick, if it doesn't boot with either stick, it's probably not the DRAM (if you have or can borrow another stick try that, if same - then fairly positive not the DRAM so you may want to bench it, have a guide that might help here:

Hello again, It works perfectly now.

Only thing I did was remove the USB connector in the motherboard and place it inn again and also remove a cable from the motherboard which I dont know what does.

It booted up and got Win Installed on it with ease.

Thanks a lot for the help, you two guys gave me hope;) thanks allot Lobaman and Tradesman1
