My new build:
Asus P9X79WS mobo
Intel 4930 CPU
Asus Matrix HD7970 Graphics Card
64Gig Gskill Ares 2400 DDR3 memory
Samsung 1TB SSD
WD 4TB IDE Hard Drive 7200rpm
LG Blu-Ray Optical Drive
Corsair H100i CPU Cooler
I am now on mobo number 2 – Asus sent me a second one through RMA. The board doesn’t boot – blue LED OK, but can’t get to BIOS at all and no Q-Codes at all. No screen output.
Update the BIOS – or at least it would appear that it took).
Swapped out the CPU with a new one – Intel 4930.
Tried swapping out the graphics card with another new one – no change.
Tried swapping the memory with DD3 1600 rated from PNY – no change.
I am at my wit’s end – not sure what else I can check – ideas?
