800 series and 700 series pricing

will the 700 series of the Nividia graphics cards become cheaper when the 800 series is released. Also when will the 800 series be released

Nothing for sure has been released on the 800 series so it is all guessing. The 700 might drop a little, but most likely the 800 series will just have a slight premium over the comparable 700 series as the 800 series will be a new platform vs a fine tune like the 600 to 700 series was.

the 800 series will all be low end until end of next year when the high end 700 go eol, then they will be replaced by 20nm high end 800

The first Maxwell card looks to be on the 28nm node as a try out to make sure it works and if that is the case then who knows when they'll roll out the 20nm GPU's?
