Hello all,

I've been meaning to purchase the laptop mentioned below, however as the title suggests I would like to fit a SSD into it.

From looking at the pictures provided by Samsung it looks as though you cannot open the laptop whatsoever, whether that be to get to the optical drive or to get to the hard drive.

I was wandering if anyone with a bit more knowledge regarding the product may know if it is possible to open the laptop and how you might go about doing that.

Any help would be much appreciated.

This seems to be the new trend on laptops, I just bought one that is the same way. It seems more prevalent in the low cost market. To install an SSD you will need to either remove the entire bottom cover of the computer or dissemble it from the top. On mine you have to disassemble it from the top. if you are uncomfortable disassembling the computer you will need to go up a couple of price points to get access covers and or trey for the HDD and ram.
