Hello, I had a topic up for an upgrade a couple days ago. I need some clarification over which card I should get. I'm stuck between the "toxic" edition with higher clock speed and the 4gb version. I plan to crossfire in the future (about 7 months down the road) so I was wondering if the 4gb version or the 2gb had an advantage in crossfire mode. I have heard that the 4 gb is better for crossfire, but I would like some reasons why if at all possible. As described in my previous thread I usually multi-monitor with an HD movie on a seperate screen while playing a game on a second display. My question is which version of the card would be better in crossfire mode in the future. Thank you in advance :).

The reason the 4gb is better is tandem is because those set ups usually run higher res gaming which require more VRAM. One 270x gpu by itself is not powerful enough by itself to push more than 2gb of graphics. 2 on the other hand might. With your set up, are you only going to be gaming at 1080p since it sounds like you use multiple monitors, but not necessarily multiple ones for gaming. Anything above 1080p you need more than 2gb for SLI. If you only game on one screen you will be fine with 2gb.
