First time PC builder - CPU temp question.

Hello,

I just built my first pc setup. I have a 4770k and GA-Z87X-UD4H motherboard, 16GB (2x8) ram. 600w power supply and corsair 300r case.

I just put all the pieces together and powered up the PC. I am still waiting for my ssd to get to my house, so i can only boot to the bios for now. I see that my idle CPU temp when in the bios is at 47C, is this a normal temp to be at with the stock fan?

Yea it usually leans to the hotter side in bios. My amd sits at 60 c in bios and drops to 20 c after I boot into windows. I think it's part of the POST (power on self test)
