Hi,
I'am in a need of a good Gaming GPU. Currently I have a GT 520 which does not do the work quite well. I'am a hardcore gamer, I play games like Splinter Cell- Blacklist and Blacklight Retribution. I'am going to play all GPU demanding games that will release soon. Don't have the list yet but please tell me a futureproof GPU that will do the job well. I mean I play at 1360*768 resolution and I want a stable 40 above fps or if not 40 above at least playable FPS. My budget is around INR 8,000 and here is my current PC-

Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.80 GHz
Asus P5KPL-AM/PS Motherboard
4 GB Ram DDR-2
450 Watt PSU (not sure of the brand)

Thank You

Thanks, woltej1 and X79 but it would be okay if the CPU is a bottleneck but the question is would the GPU would utilise most of it or not , I mean will it run at it's full potential or not? The problem is I don't have a great budget right now so Iam happy enough to just upgrade my GPU and then later on get a better CPU, well earlier I got an advice for a HD 7750 GDDR5 , is it good for my system? And also can my system run HD 7770?

That's the thing - A bottleneck means your hardware (whether it's the CPU, GPU or whatnot) isn't running at its full potential !
A 7750 is the low end. I wouldn't go higher than a 7770 I think. I'd imagine you'll pull through with that, seeing as you don't
play on 1080p either.

I'd go with a 7750, I did a little research and found some benchmarks of intel's hd4000 integrated graphics at that resolution then compared the hardware to a 7750 and yea, you'll do great with that, then you don't have to worry about a bottleneck as bad, if not at all.

I know and as far as I know HD 7770 can run most games at 40-50 games (Medium or High Settings, Not sure) But from my above statement I didn't mean Full Potential , I mean like will much of it will go to trash until I upgrade my whole rig? And also does 7770 require a connector , I mean extra power supply or will it run like , just plug, install drivers and you're ready to go? Thanks

That was my main concern I don't think my PSU has that :( :(
Ok thank you guys, I think it would be better to go with the 7770 but I would first ask my computer expert if my PSU supports it or not and if not then I'll better go for a 7750 instead. :)
