Hi, I am currently playing Blade & Soul CHINA.
My setup is i7 4770k @ 4.3ghz
Gigabyte GTX 770 2gb
8gb DDR3 1600mhz ram
Windows 8.1
2560x1440 resolution monitor
Samsung 840 Evo
When I play the game, My CPU USAGE never exceeds 40% and my GPU usage is about 70-85%

I get microstutter's randomly usually everytime I see a bigger area but its steady 66fps. When it stutters, It doesnt stutter for more than 0.5 seconds or something small so I cant really catch the FPS. Anyone know whats up? I was starting to think this game is not optimized for nvidia drivers. But I'd like to hear from other people who would know the issue.

Solution
defrag your HDD if necessary I cant think of anything else outside of drivers and game not liking each other so much. also in power management make sure its all set to high performance mode. And in the BIOS if there is some sort of HPC (High performance computing) to enable, do so.
is it a constant stutter or just when you first see a new area. If its just when you first see it that's just loading lag. Otherwise make sure your drivers are updated as it is most likely a software conflict between the game and drivers.

Sometimes its when I see more units on the screen etc. I get it consistantly when i'm in a town where its populated. Otherwise in a map where not many people is, I still get it just not as constant but sometimes it can lead to GPU taking a dump as well giving me the Driver Error black screen.

if you're getting a driver error it may be wise to wipe and reinstall drivers, since that shouldn't happen at all if they are working properly, stutters and lag may happen regardless but if drivers are hanging and crashing then something's wrong

btw I'm jealous lol, I've REALLY wanted to Blade and Soul since 5 years ago when they announced, but eh not worth the effort to try to connect to China servers, add on the possibility that it may never come to NA :(

lmaonade200> You can subscribe to Battleping 5$ USD a month. Cheap and if you find a stable fast server you'll have 50-100ms playing. Really depends where you live. If you live on the west coast there are alot of servers on battleping

The game just doesnt love u.
A CPU may contain 4-8 core processor.
The reason why ur CPU isnt utilised to its max is because the game is using directx 9. While ur setup is dx11.
Dx9 focuses heavily on 1 core processor and the rest are not fully utilised.
Hence, once it reaches 100% of that 1 core processor - thats where bottlenecking happens.
U can check it out on ur resource monitor. U'll notice that only 1 thread thats utilised at 90%-100% most of the time while ur gaming.
And thats only 1 core processor - of course ur not going to use 40% of ur total CPU usage.
And everytime that 1 thread spikes to 100% - thats when ur game stutters.
The game is channeling everything into a small hole when there are more holes that it can actually go through.

The game can not use more than 2-4 threads at best and that you want a fast core-by-core pentium cpu (that supports hyperthreading) or a true quadcore (doesn´t need hyperthreading). That means i3 or i5-core.
