Hey guys,i bought a new 1gb ram adata ddr 400(3) 1gx16 for my asus p4r8l motherboard.i cant figure out the problem.if i put my old ram in my pc it works normal but new ram is causing reboots and blue screen pls help me
I saw people changing their frequency from.bios but i cant find the A.I tweaker tab in my bios.and by the way is this ram compatible with my motherboard?
as far as i know, a.i. tweaker didn't exist until ddr3 boards. you want to go through all the options till you find something like dram/ram configuration.
It is difficult to tell if it is compatible as it is an obscure model with no info on the asus website.
The best way to find out would be to try configuring it yourself.
U will have to search for Pundit-R in the asus website then u can find the details for it.and for the bios if i go advanced tab then chipset and then there are 2options southbridge and northbridge and northbridge has a option for choosing dram cas speed and i cannot find any other options regarding ram
