I KEEP shorting motherboards

This sounds really stupid, I know. But I've shorted two MB's already. I always make sure to touch metal once every 5 minutes but it still doesn't work. Could it be something else? Should I buy an anti-static bracelet? Thank you!

short MB cause of broken mosfet, u can check it with multi meter buzzer
black probe in the GND 4 pin atx , red probe touch every leg of FET,
if a FET beep in two leg , that the broke FET, replace it
a normally FEt oly beep 2 leg (source leg&GND leg ,middle)

Yes buy an ESD strap and give a solid slap to the back of the head to the person who told you "make sure to touch metal once every 5 minutes" and make sure never to take their advise again.

I'm definitely going out to buy one tomorrow, after all the crap that's happened. But I was wondering, could the shorts be because of something else? Or is it because I have really bad luck with computers.
