Fine, looks like I would have to tone down the resolution when gaming. What card would be recommended for maxing out games on 4k? Might get it in the future when I have more cash.

There is no card out there that can max out games on 4k. Not even close. The best you can do, if you have a ton of money, is get a LGA 2011 MB, a 1300W PSU, and three GTX 780 Ti or three R9 290x. But this is just dreaming, OK? Such a rig would cost $3000 at least.

$3000? Not a prob, I can even go big now, but I need the cash for something else, which is why I am getting a $1000 build. How bout this; I take away the video cards from my build up there and get the pc done without it. Then, in a couple of months, I can get the 3 780ti's that you mentioned. Is there any other modification I have to do to the build if I wish to do so?

Yeah, you need to change the MB, CPU and PSU. It has to be an LGA 2011 motherboard with 3 PCI-E x16 slots, and the CPU must be compatible with LGA 2011 (e.g i7-4930k), and the PSu must be 1300W or more - 950W will only handle two GTX 780 Ti cards, not 3.

Screw it then, too much of a hassle. I guess I will just have to tone down the resolution. How much would a custom water cooling loop cost, and how far can I OC it?
