Hello everyone.

I've been looking for new ram for my X58 mobo with an i7 930 @ 2.80 GHz. So I looked at Kingston HyperX Beast 16 GB, but on their side it says the ram is designed to work with a range of chipsets but X58 isn't mentioned. It sort of reads like it's optimized for X79, but I can't find a complete list of motherboards it will work with.

Do this mean the RAM won't work? Even if everything else is compatible with the motherboard?

I'm also wondering, the motherboard is designed for triple channel but there doesn't seem to many 16gb or 24 gb sets with 3 modules. Can I buy 2x8 gb and then eventually buy 1x8 gb of the same kind, or will that not work?

Edit: Also what frequency should I buy? The motherboard supports: 2200, 2133, 2000, 1800, 1600, 1333, 1066.
