Basically, I'm going to buy, not build, a computer for gaming on ultra settings. Games like BF4, Rome Total War II, etc. MY issue is that I don't know which CPU to get and whether either of them will bottleneck my GPU. I've never bought a proper gaming PC before so I don't know too much, thanks for any help!

The fx 8320 is much better than fx 6300 on games like bf4 and crysis 3. It's no different than an underclocked fx 8350. You can rarely see any difference when ultra between fx 8320 and fx 8350. So I'd say get the second build as it is more value for money.

It is worth the money. fx 6300 is for budget builds, but looking at those rigs I think going for fx 8320 will be better. It already has turbo boost upto 4ghz. But if you wan't you can buy a better cooler later and overclock it.

Thanks for all the answers guys! Just a quick question, will the CoolerMaster 212 Evo be good as a cooler if I overclock it or would you recommend another one that's fairly cheap? I was just thinking I'm probably going to add that cooler anyway I just wanted to know if it copes with overclocking, thanks :)

That cooler is okay for low-mild oc's. But that should be fine. If you wan't heavy overclocks like 4.8 ghz then I recommend a liquid cooler. 212 evo is enough to oc fx 8350 to 4.4 ghz. So I gues fx 8320 lies somewhere in that region too.
