So I'm working on this new computer I have, but I can't connect my old ide hard drive. My 500w power supply only has sata connectors. Most adaptors I find online seem to be made to work the other way around (ie. hooking up a sata hd to a power supply with only ide connections.) Any help?

Are you wanting to mount it in the case or would an external solution be viable?

You can get something like this and transfer your data to another hard drive in the computer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0U0.... If you are planning on using the HDD in the computer then you would need this http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Pin-IDE-Molex-to-Male-15-Pin-.... You can also look for an external enclosure like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
