hi guys
this is my pc
asus p5wd2
cpu 3.0 gigahertz single core
and 2gigabytes of ddrII ram(i think bus 500)
and windforce 512 7500gtx

I just want to play wow! and in raids and crowded places i've got a lot of lag my fps drops to 3 or 2
graphic setting is on fair! lower than recomended
my friend has the same build but with radeon 5750
and celeron cpu single coil. until yesterday his fps was exactly like me but the setting of
game was on high allways.
I went to his home and i just reset the bios settings to default i think cpu was overclocked for 20%! and no change at all just reseting the bios to its default. his fps after this change in raids is around 15 and hardly goes to 20
his graphic setting is set on high
why is that?
can u help me?
i want to get the fps of 20 in raids that's enough for me!
is there any customize in bios or windows?
or what if i want to upgrade a little?
for example ram or vga? i don't have money!
so plz first help me with software stuff and then tell me the cheapest solution for upgrade!

plz help! after a year of playing wow with such a lag i didnt buy game card to charge my account but if u help me to solve my problem i will get back to wow!

tnx guys

CPU is old, single cores are no longer relevant in gaming and have been overtaken by dual cores, quad cores and even oct cores. Even in MMo's like wow, you need a better processor preferably a quad core like an FX4300. GPU is way too old, 7500GTX is 2005 tech, you need a new graphics card. A HD 7750 is a minimum for modern day gaming. With these upgrades i'm sure you'll get frames on your WOW raids. As for your friend, the celeron is a very weak CPU, he needs a better CPU as well. Your problem is a hardware limitation not software, unfortunately, money must be spent.
