I'm learning about partitions etc and my new laptop has windows 7 on it, when I go into computer management I see my hard drive there along with a recovery partition which is 19.53GB, I know this is used to factory reset my laptop, but I would like to know what is the 19.53GB? is it a replica of what windows was like when I first bought the laptop?
also there is another partition that says Healthy (OEM Partition)
it's only 102MB, what is this for? many thanks

Yes that Recovery Partition is what it uses to restore your laptop that way it was when it left the factory. As far as the smaller partition it's a part that windows requires seperate and doesn't need to be messed with or even looked at. You also and I would suggest you do this be able to put you're restore to DVD's and I would suggest you do so.
