laptop not booting, help please. Windows 7?

When booting if in ahci mode then it comes with an error saying no bootable device found.
If I change this to IDE mode in bios then it boots to windows startup screen and blue screens and restarts.
What should I do?
Should I reinstall windows, if so in what mode in bios?

restart your laptop and press F8 repeatedly after he post.
then choose safe mode with networking.
then find-download-install missing and latest drivers for all your devices.

If that doesnt help, try unpluging and repluging your RAM and hdd.

I tried doing safe mode It sill crashes, as for the ram I have already tried that

It is a Packard bell TK 85
