I can personally vouch for the asus, and I must say that it kicks ass! I love it, especially gaming on 144hz. It's nice how it can be arranged in different angles etc. Can't go wrong with it!

I have Asus VG248QE myself and it's absolutely an amazing monitor, however don't use 144hz for gaming use 120hz+Lightboost instead it is much better, the monitors are pretty equal so it's a matter of taste really, BenQ is 120hz and since 120hz+Lightboost is better than 144hz you can go with either monitors
