Hi there i recently upgraded my partners laptop with a SSD drive now the problem lies that she was using windows 7 home premium 64 bit she did not have her windows installation disc and checking system properties it was an OEM version now her certificate of authenticity sticker is at the bottom off the laptop which has over time faded with the heat underneath so its unreadable so i have the windows product id which has a case of 4 number phrases with OEM which i copied from her old system properties i installed windows 7 with the untouched version from digital river and installed it fine now the problem lies is when i try to change the product id her numbers start with a 00 and its invalid characters i don't get it was there another code i needed instead its quite frustrating that its not working and i have 29 days to activate it paying for it is out of the question as she has already purchased the software and laptop included
