Hello, I was looking to buy a dual band router before I buy an nvidia shield, but all 12 dual band routers I have read about break after 2 months,yet there all $200 why is this and is there any good dual band routers that don't break after the few months.

My Linksys Dual Band wireless router has been functioning for over 2 years. The previous Linksys Dual Band also functioned for over 2 years before I decided to replace it (it was not defective).

Place the router on a 2" high (or higher) stand-off to enable better air flow under the router. This helps to keep it cool and last longer. I used the sheet metal from an old PSU as the stand-off.
