Hello,
After changing my gpu - replaced Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 with GTX 770(4gb OC) my pc does not boot normally. Needs to reboot 2-3 times to be able to get into Windows 7. After windows 7 logo, screen shuts down even if system still running.

Anyway.. i m using ASUS P6T deluxe V2 motherboard and 750w power supply.
Can motherboard be the problem? I mean that is PCI express 2 and not PCI express 3.

And if i remove graphic cards drivers, pc boots normally .

Any help would be appreciated

The problem will be your power supply. It may be capable of 750w but if you check how many amps it can handle, it will fall short for your GFX card. Bad news, but you need to purchase a new and decent quality PSU.

Post constructively and informatively. One liners aren't any of the aforementioned. Also note, the use of full words and fully constructed sentences improve legibility.

That being said. OP please post full system specs. We can move on from there.

Thank you all for your answers,

Power supply i got is : Lian Li SILENT Force 750W (PS-S750GE).
motherboard: ASUS P6T deluxe V2
CPU : i7 920 @ 2.6GHz
GPU :Gigabyte GTX 770 (4gb OC)
HDD: ADATA XPG SX900 ssd 256gb
RAM : Corsair dominator GT CMG6GX3MA1600C7 3x2GB 1600mhz
OS : Windows 7 Enterprise x 64

So GTX 770 on PCI Express 2 slot can't be a problem?

Anyway i will try soon a different power supply and i will let you know if that was the problem.

I already uninstalled AMD drivers before installing nvidia ones so thats not the problem.
Actually i tried both Gigabyte and Nvidia ones and with both got the same problem. i need to restart PC 3 times every time to get into windows :/

I forgot to mention that sometimes no matter what i m doing, screen blinks and get that error ..."Display driver has stopped working and has recovered."
