Stupid question by a worried person: can I put a micro ATX mobo in an ATX case?

The title says it all. I'm buying components for a PC, and I just noticed that the case I'm planning to buy is a "ATX Mid Tower", but my mobo is "micro ATX". Does this matter, and can I still put my mobo in that case, or do I have to buy another one?

Make sure your case lists micro-atx boards as something it supports, a couple of the screw holes are in a different place for micro atx boards, most cases will work with both, but there are some that don't have the extra couple of screw options.
