A really loud fan on start up

Every time I start my computer about a minute in, one of my fans gets unusally loud. It is after I do the start up. I recently cleaned out the vents on my tower to see if that would do anything but it still does it. I noticed that it started doing this when I started playing mmos. I'm thinking it has to do with the graphics card but I'm not too sure. My computer is an Hp Envy h8-1455.

Open the left side panel of case/cabinet to make sure the source of the sound. Its hard to tell without seeing it physically. So you are the best person to isolate the issue.

Would opening it void my limited warranty?

Many motherboard BIOSes rev the FAN on startup. Its normal and cannot be changed.

It did not sound like this prior to 2 months ago. It's not exactly on start up. Its once I get the desktop loading.

Well in that case it is probably CPU overheating

Time to clean the HSF and repaste most likely
