Hey TomsHardware,
With my case, the hard drive bays are all metal and use screws to mount. Which ends up creating a very noisy mess with my HDD. I was wondering if there is any type of converter so I could take advantage of my 5.25 bays to make a quiet(er) HDD orchestra. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks,
-Jared

There are many 5.25 to 3.25 adapters available in the market. They work well and will serve you well.

I understand that, but I am looking into a quiet solution (ie softeners/ noise cancelers). I have no experiance in the field and would like some input on which company and some cheap options.

-Thanks

How is this going to be any quieter than my current solution? All metal with metal screws attaching everything?
