Hey guys,

I want to do a upgrade on my computer. Since i don't have a big budget i would like to hear from someone with experience what are their opinions.

I've a:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 @2.33Ghz
Asus P5KC
Kingston 4GB DDR3 PC3-10070 667Mhz
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS

So i use the computer mainly for Gaming. I want a new Processor and of course a new motherboard.

Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor - 195.51€
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Carte mère Intel ATX Socket 1150 - 121.85€

The other components i will keep for now. Later i will upgrade my ram and my hard disk for an SSD. Since i'm on a little budget this is all i can afford.

What you guys think?

Thanks for all the answers in advance.

Thanks. May I ask why? I play mainly online and that's why i thought MSI was the best solution. I've never had a problem with Asus but i would like to try to understand why you suggest that Asus over MSI.

Thanks.

Hey guys, so i bought the parts now i have;

Intel i7 4770K
Asus Z87-A
Kingston DDR3 4GB 1333Mhz
Geforce 8800 GTS
Power Supply is a LC6600 5 years old +/-
Ive a chassis fan on the front and back

The problem is that after all is connected i get no screen image. What are the causes? Is it that my power supply is not good enough anymore?

Thanks in advance
