my pc:

Asus gtx760 DirectCU II oc
fx-6300 overclocked to 4.5ghz
2x 4gb 1333hz ram
windows 8.1

So, my setting on the games are on max, and I've met people with the same gtx760 with settings on max too,

the difference is that they had 40-50 fps while I had 18-25 FPS in the same place of the game we play(Neverwinter).

And I asked lots of people in-game and they said that something is wrong with my PC, 18-25 fps is too low for it's config.

The problem is not on the graphic options in-game, I've tested everything there.

I've even reinstalled my windows 8.1, installed only the cd mobo driver and downloaded the GPU driver.

Then I tried to play again, and the FPS is still 18-25.

I think it may be windows 8.1 problem, but I've asked ppl in game and they said the 8.1 was fine.

PS: in some stuff that my FPS should go to 60 it just sits at 59, kinda weird.

does anybody know what the problem may be?

I have 8gb ram... games nowadays doesn't require more than 4gb. So, 8gb, 16gb or 32gb woudnt change a single fps. And about the CPU, they had a better CPU than me, but my CPU is pretty good for the gtx760, I think it's impossible that a better CPU would increase 20 fps.

PS: if you get an CPU too expensive, it won't matter the gtx760 would bottleneck it.

Turbo is off, the CPU is overlocked one BIOS and the mobo is an M5A97
