Yes Definitely disagree. Maybe if this was a $2000 computer it would matter, but plain and simple, even when games do use 16gb RAM (not for a long time), the other hardware will be a bottleneck WAY before 8gb RAM even comes into play. Sorry. That is just how it is.
 


BF4 already runs in 64 bit and takes advantage of extra RAM. Nothing wrong with 16GB. As more applications move to 64 in the next year, the RAM will be used more frequently.

16GB is future proofing for the end of the year, I also recommend faster RAM.
 


DDR4 RAM is so close that wasting all this money on DDR3 RAM for VERY small if any performance gain is pointless in my opinion.
