As many of you know, the Asus PG278Q is coming within the next few months. It's a 27 inch TN panel with 2560x1440 at 120+hz refresh rate. Also, its a gsync monitor. My current one is not. Here's my question. Should I go with:
1) gtx 780 classified sli
2) gtx 780 classified tri sli
3) gtx 780 Ti classified sli
I'm really curious what is needed to push that refresh rate at that resolution. I know tri sli is frowned upon, but is beneficial (at least marginally) at high resolutions. Consider the following: all will be air cooled at first, but will go to water soon. I have one gtx 780 classified already, but will sell if need be. I just can't figure out if dual Ti's would beat 3 way standard classified in this scenerio. Thanks for the input.
