If you could go for a intel processor with hyper threading it will run like a eight core and run cooler and future proof yourself, usually all intel i processors beat amd CPUs and get a gtx 780 it runs faster and cooler than the 280x, but it depends on your budget but intel is better than amd for everything, but it's your choice right?

1 This thread is 2 weeks old
2 Intel cpus cost much more in comparison to AMD, Budget orientated builds go amd
3 The 780 is, once more, much more expensive.

The hardware you mentioned is way too expensive for my budget as mine is about £600-£700 to spend overall, i have looked at buying something similar to waht you said but i dont think that i will have the money to.
Thanks for the reply anyway

But I wouldn't worry about the CPU but get a 780 if you can, but more games are using nvidia, but what do you plan on playing? But I have usd not euros but the CPU would be as important as the gpu in First Person Shooters like bf4, but amd would be fine if you're just gaming

I dont think it is possible for me to get a 780 but it might be possible to get an r9 290 or a gtx 770. And also my currency is pounds not euros

If you can't afford it then look at some other models of cards in the same range but get the 280x over the 770 it gets 5 more fps but keep in mind the cooling, and I'm sorry I didn't know where you were from but I would if you could look at a custom build if you can afford one
