Having Major FPS Lag in all games

Ever since about January 10th, I have been getting huge FPS drops in all games. It drops to about 10-30 FPS. Before that date, everything was working just fine at 60-200 FPS. I can't seem to find the problem though. My temperatures are fine, all my computer drivers have been updated, My CPU and GPU aren't being down-clocked, I don't have any viruses, i have scanned and cleaned my computer of all the useless files, I disabled all unneeded programs, etc. Can someone please help me?

Computer Specs
CPU: Intel Core i5 3210 @ 3GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 650
RAM: 6 GB
HDD: 450 GB
Resolution: 1600x 900

Try defragging your harddrive, and maybe a CHKDSK. I also had that issues, for some reasons, after running CCleaner and a defragmentation/cleaning it seemed to work again.

I personally think it's your hard drive, i know it can create thease drops if they are not properly working anymore.
