I have a Core i5 HP, video card just went bad. Thinking of putting a Radeon 7750 which has 1GB DDR5 memory. My PC has DDR3 RAM.
Question: is the DDR5 in the video card going to have it's performance restricted in any way by my older PC?
The GDDR 5 memory is purely for your video card. It has nothing to do with the DDR3 your system has. Most modern systems are DDR3 ram and GDDR 5 graphics memory.
