Hi There,

I have just recently updated my rig with quite a few upgrades.

I replaced the CPU, Graphics card, PSU and Mobo.

I went from a athalon x2 630, to a amd fx-6300.

I have reinstalled windows, but I can't see any obvious gain in performance with regard to basic computing (computer was slowing down, hence why I upgraded).

I thought it might be a driver issue, but I couldn't find anything on the net.

Shouldn't I have a completely new computer in theory?

Anythoughts on how I might improve the smoothness of my machine etc?

Thanks alot.

I see you upgraded nearly everything except the hard drive and RAM :p
It could really hold your system back and might not be functioning properly. Try to do a stresstest on it if you see you get some errors it must be your hard drive. But it can also be your RAM if you have less than 4gb 1088mhz Ram you should really upgrade that too.

Hope you make it smooth and fast again :)

Don't forget to pick a solution by the way( this closes down the thread.)
