Is the SoundBlaster Z EMI shielding really effective? It has a hole in it, the round glass in the middle. Also it is not shielded on the back. How effective it is? Is this really shielding?
Also, I dislike the two red LEDs. This is just bad taste... And the plastic piece in the center of window which is covering the chip is also a strange idea.
I wonder who designed this board. Is this really a top piece of engineering?
Anyway. My question is strictly about the EMI shielding. Isn't it supposed to be with no holes in it?
